On Sunday 6th October, Leigh Bailey (Teacher and KS2 Leader at Bramfield House School) ran a 26 mile marathon in Bournemouth to raise money for the The Cleft Lip and Palate Association.

Leigh chose to run this marathon for CLAPA as one of his colleagues at the school had a baby who was born with a cleft lip and pallet.  The little girl, who is now three, has had to undergo two major operations to date and will continue to have operations throughout her life.  Leigh has currently raised an amazing total of £800 for this charity and everyone at Bramfield House is very proud of him.  If you would also like   to make a donation towards this worthy cause then please visit:  Well Done Leigh!
